In this day and age in which everyone seems to be airbrushed, getting plastic surgery, and all-around fake it seems as though it’s impossible for the average man or woman to look good for their mate. It truly is not once you understand how simple it can be.
General Tips
To look good you have to feel good. This means eating all natural foods. If it’s wrapped, bagged, canned, etc., then it contains nasty preservatives. Eat these items sparingly (less than 1x per week if possible). Eat more: fruits, vegetables, and lean meats.
Don’t drink soda! This is the number one reason most people gain excess weight. Replace it with carbonated flavored water, lemonade, or tea.
Workout everyday! It can be easy and fun. In fact, you can get your spouse involved as well! Go for a walk every morning or afternoon. You should get about 30 minutes of exercise at least 3x per week.
Maintain your body everyday. Brush your teeth, get them whitened professionally 1x per year (white teeth can completely upgrade anyone’s appearance), shower daily, wash your face with an exfoliating cream (or an acne reduction cream if you have pimples), remove excess body hair, use mouthwash, etc. I hate having to mention this but some people truly do forget to do the bare minimum. This takes a huge toll on a relationship. If you don’t care about yourself, why should anyone else?
Eat a multivitamin daily.
Women
NOTE: Don’t fall into a rut. Just because you are married does not give you an excuse to stop trying to look good. You try to look good for the rest of the world, shouldn’t you look at least 100x better for your own husband? Ladies, trust me, this is crucial.
Wear heels. They elongate your legs and make them look even better.
Wear your husband’s (not your) favorite perfume, hairstyles and clothes ESPECIALLY when you are at home. He is the person you should do your best to make happy and, frankly, the only person whose opinion should truly matter to you other than your own. Also, don’t lounge around your home in unattractive clothes you wouldn’t want your friends to see you in. Your husband should be the priority in your life. Make him feel that way and put in the effort.
Don’t wear too much makeup. It’ll age you faster. Lipgloss and some eyeshadow is about all you need.
Go to the salon every once in a while and get a new haircut or style. It’s amazing what this can do for your confidence.
Men
*NOTE: Don’t fall into a rut. Just because you are married does not give you an excuse to stop trying to look good. You try to look good for the rest of the world, shouldn’t you look at least 100x better for your own wife? Trust me, this is crucial.
Take up bodybuilding. There’s a program called P90X that can get you ripped in 90 days. The extra effort on looking good will pay off and your wife won’t be able to resist you.
Wear your wife’s (not your) favorite cologne, hairstyles and clothes ESPECIALLY when you are at home. She is the person you should do your best to make happy and, frankly, the only person whose opinion should truly matter to you other than your own. Also, don’t lounge around your home in unattractive clothes you wouldn’t want your friends to see you in. Your wife should be the priority in your life. Make her feel that way and put in the effort.
Pursue your interests. Invite your wife to join in! Women do find it incredibly attractive when a man is driven towards something. Playing with/laughing with your wife is critical in making her see you as the most attractive man in the universe.
Watch romances and chick flicks. All of the men in those movies are the same in attitude. It’s extremely difficult for a woman to resist when a man romances her. Follow those men and do what they do. Trust me, it’s cheesy but works.
Uniforms, uniforms, uniforms. Alright, maybe this is just me, but a man in normal clothes vs. that same man in a uniform can make a huge difference. Ask your wife what kind of clothes she would like to see you in. Make some of her fantasies come true. Don’t worry, she’ll reciprocate.
Hope that helps you all. I’ll be covering how to look and feel attractive WAY more in my upcoming ebook “Perfect Love Here I Come.” I may also have a hardcover. I’ll keep you guys posted on any updates when it’s going to be released.
